I was born in Indiana. My parents and I moved to Portland Tennessee when I was 2 or so, then moved to Gallatin Tennessee when I was 3. where I lived until I moved back to Portland in 2008. The photography business helped push me to move to Hendersonville in 2016. I am the proud father of two sons, a stepson and a stepdaughter and several grandchildren. I served as the Scoutmaster for Boy Scouts of America for 19 years and received several awards. With the Scouts I have traveled extensively, reaching from Biloxi Mississippi, the Canadian Boundary Waters, Virginia and New Mexico.
Photography has been my passion since I was very young. My goal as a photographer is not complete until you are drawn into the image.
My hobby started with selling stock photography on numerous sites, including iStock, DreamsTime and BigStock. This hobby now has me in four galleries in two cities and two states.
Getting into galleries started in Nashville at an event called Cabin Fever Hey Day in the Marathon Music Works building in Marathon Village on February 8th. 2014 there Olga Alexeeva of “O" Gallery came into my booth and told me I have an eye and I needed to have my photo art in her gallery.
I love what I am doing and love it when you take with you a part of me in something I have created. A piece of my art.
